I can think of ten different ways I wanted this movie to end and none of them are the way it actually ended. I think I need to find the original Danish Film and make my comparisons.
Solid acting by Jake Gyllenhaal and Tobey Maguire but I think Natalie Portman was somehow miscast in this movie. More a study in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder than in fraternal relationships, this war move still is able to evoke some strong emotions and explodes in just the right dark places.3.25 Stars out of 5

Jake Gyllenhaal did such a great job in 'Brothers' that he almost stole the show in my opinion. Is it me, or does he like to be in movies that "make a statement" of some kind?
