From some little shack of a restaurant in Port A

from this weekend's jaunt to the coast. It was pretty good but the service was way lacking. I can not remember the name of the restaurant to save my life.

Mixed seafood kabob with dirty rice and red beans and rice.

♫ MICHAEL JACKSON - WANNA BE STARTIN' SOMETHING

I remember when this song was popular on the charts way back in 1983. I loved this song and played the heck out of it---over and over on my cassette tape. And just like MJ's other singles from the Thriller album, I expected my fave song to go to #1 as well. I was wrong. I remember Overkill by Men At Work kept Wanna Be Startin' Something at the #2 position for quite a while. Yes I was angry that my fave MJ song never made it to #1.

Through the years I have come to appreciate the melody and lyrics of Overkill. I am no longer bitter. They both hold a special place in my musical heart.

Michael Jackson RIP

I am still profoundly sad.

SUPPER:

Had the special: sausage; cabbage and German potatoes. OMG---this meal was so good. I ate every bit. Service sucked to begin with but then server who took over our table was a delight.
